Publix: Just not my week
Usually in this space each week, I showcase all of the great deals I got at Publix. Generally I spend somewhere from $15 to $25 and saved 70% or 80%.
Not this week. I didn't have a lot of time to plan my trip, and the deals I found weren't all that great. I had trouble printing the Publix Best Meals Happen at Home coupons, so I didn't save nearly as much on the items I did get. And some of the coupons I brought to the store ended up not being matches for the products I'd hope to buy.
So here is what I got. I hope next week is better!
4 Knorr Sides @ BOGO $1.59 = $3.18
- 2 $0.50/2 Knorr Pasta and Rice Sides, exp. 2/23/14 (RP 01/26/14)
= $2.18 for four, or 55¢ each
2 Lipton tea bags 100-ct @ BOGO $4.69
- 2 $0.50/1 Lipton Tea Bags, Tea & Honey, or Iced Tea Mix Product, exp. 2/23/14 (RP 01/26/14 R)
= $3.69 for two, or $1.85 each
1 Quaker Warm & Crunchy Granola @ $2.50
- $1/1 Quaker Warm and Crunchy Granola, exp. 3/9/14 (RP 01/26/14 #2)
= $1.50
Total spent: $7.37
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $12.36
