Publix: Check your receipts carefully!

One benefit of blogging about my Publix trips is that I have to look at my receipt carefully while writing up the deals.

This week, I found a couple of errors on my receipt. When I checked out, I noticed that my total before coupons was around $65, higher than the $61 or so I was expecting. Looking at my receipt, I see that I was charged for a third Celentano pasta at $3.99, even though I had only bought two. And going through the coupons, I also see that one of my Dixie Crystals Publix coupons was not counted.

Mistakes happen, and that's okay. I'll be heading back to the store soon to get a refund for these mistakes. I love that Publix is very good about admitting mistakes and giving a refund when there is one.

Otherwise, this was a pretty good week. The ad seemed small but I found several good deals that combined manufacturer's and store coupons - I always love that! And I got the $50 VISA card for $40 plus a $4.95 activation fee, so that's $5.05 more for free!
