We have a brilliantly funny book to share with you today.

$50 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway (or PayPal cash) - Michelle Manning

Siding With Plato is a romantic laugh-out-loud chick lit novel about being young, beautiful, and a seriously hot mess!

Brooke Aarons can't get to college fast enough. Leaving behind her small town life, she intends to transform herself into a brilliant psychologist at the University of Texas, with no distractions to slow her down. But when she finds herself on a double date with the school's star football player - and worse, enjoying it - Brooke has to wonder if she's the one who needs her head examined. James Cartwright's easy life, endless bucks, and long line of willing girls should make him a non-starter for Brooke, but as she learns, the psychology behind a bad crush is a whole lot messier of a subject. Maybe Plato was right. Maybe love is a serious mental disease . . . If so there better be a cure before Brooke gets herself in too deep.

Look at what other readers have had to say

Siding with Plato is witty and exciting, you won't be able to put it down!

It took me right back to my Freshmen year of college and all the fun I had! I loved when Brooke and her friends would wake up and immediately try to locate each other to grab some breakfast and gossip/piece together the night before. It reminded me of my group of girlfriends, Those morning were my favorite part of college.

Siding With Plato is a fun, easy read for the summer! The characters are entertaining and witty - and I could easily relate to all of their hilarious interactions. I highly recommend grabbing your towel and heading out to the beach with Siding With Plato!

I think I like Paperback books . I guess I am old school.

I prefer paperbacks because I like to read when I am gone from the house or when my electric goes out under candle light.

Unknown August 11, 2013 at 2:10 AM

I prefer paperbacks over ebooks because I love the feel of physical books in my hands when i'm reading!

Unknown August 11, 2013 at 5:48 AM

I prefer paperbacks still, I like having a physical book, easier to use.

Cathy Shaw,  August 11, 2013 at 9:32 AM

These days I prefer ebooks. No need to store them on a shelf or watch the paper decay over time!

Karen August 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM

I prefer paperbacks over e-books as that way I feel like I am reading a real book.

Miss Sarah August 11, 2013 at 4:47 PM

I most definitely prefer "real" books NOT e-books. Your brain actually processes books differently (and gets more out of them) with an actual book rather than something on a screen, and I just LOVE BOOKS!! :)

Thanks for the giveaway!

I prefer paperbacks because reading is my break from electronics and technology.

Unknown August 11, 2013 at 9:57 PM

Ebooks. I like to read at night and it is much easier with the kindle fire

mellyrox August 11, 2013 at 10:35 PM

Well I don't have an E-reader yet but really want one so I still read paperbacks .. thanks so much!

I prefer paperbacks...I love the feel of a book in my hands and the smell of well worn well read book lol

I prefer paperback because I don't own an e-reader and have never used one before.

Unknown August 12, 2013 at 7:31 AM

I prefer ebooks its just easier to read it on my reader since I carry it with me all the time and its one less thing i have to carry

smdrm August 12, 2013 at 9:13 AM

I prefer paperbacks, just because I like to have an actual book in my hand. But since I'm a full-time RVer, I'll be getting an E-Reader since carrying a lot of books is not a good idea in an RV.

saving money August 12, 2013 at 9:21 AM

hi i prefer paper backs, only cause it feels lighter when i am laying on my recliner and reading, thank you.

Ann Fantom,  August 12, 2013 at 11:30 AM

I'm old school! I prefer to take paperbacks to the beach to read so I don't have worry about my Kindle getting damaged or stolen.

since I don't have a e-reader, I'd go with paperback books. They're easy to bring along and if you loose it, I'm not heart broken. Thanks so much.

i prefer paperbacks because it is easier for me to pass on to my non computer oriented friends

Becca August 12, 2013 at 9:40 PM

Selinda,  August 12, 2013 at 10:30 PM

I love ebooks! EAsier to hold and read!

Thanks,

I'm trying to win for my sister who always reads and she'd prefer paperback books. She likes to come home from work and lay in bed, relax and read

Tim August 14, 2013 at 6:15 PM

I prefer eBooks as I find them more convenient (especially when I'm travelling) -- I don't have to lug heavy books around.

John Leahy,  August 16, 2013 at 8:33 AM

Since I bought a tablet, I'm hooked on ebooks. So easy to read and store.

Stacy August 16, 2013 at 3:41 PM

I prefer paperbacks because I just like the feel of books. Also, I would rather take a physical book with me to work to read on my lunch break rather than risk my Kindle getting stolen (although I read on my Kindle at home and when I travel).

kath g,  August 16, 2013 at 7:39 PM

i like paperbacks because i can put them in my back pocket and not worry about breaking them and i like physically turning the pages and being able to see how much i've read and how much more until the end.

clc408 August 16, 2013 at 8:01 PM

I am totally for ebooks because I can put a whole library in my handbag and read anywhere.

Unknown August 17, 2013 at 12:30 PM

I like reading actual hardcover, in my hand books, not anything on a e-reader. I don't have one anyway, but I'm just old fashioned I guess.

wigget August 17, 2013 at 1:49 PM

I prefer paperbacks since my fingers slip on the e-reader causing me to lose my place

Erika Marie August 19, 2013 at 10:24 PM

I still love paperbacks but I also am now in the e-books because my daughter has a Kindle :) I would still say paperbacks are the winner though!

Stacey J.,  August 19, 2013 at 10:28 PM

I love to read paperbacks because I feel more connected when reading them.

Sandra Beeman August 20, 2013 at 9:25 AM

I prefer a paperback novel to an E-Reader because I feel closer to the characters an the plot of the story when I can hold the book close to me.

Audrey,  August 21, 2013 at 9:12 PM

I like paperbacks because it is a bit easier on my eyes. Also, for some reason, I like turning pages!

smilekisses August 23, 2013 at 1:33 AM

I like paperbacks because I like the covers and holding the book to turn pages.

Anonymous,  August 23, 2013 at 10:13 AM

Paperbacks for several reasons. I like reading in the bath and I am afraid I will drop an ereader in the bathtub. Can't pass on a ebook to friend and family. Lastly, I love having a bookcase full of books as beautiful decor in my home.

Lynda Thomas,  August 23, 2013 at 12:18 PM

I prefer paper books, but I haven't ever tried an e-reader, so I might have fun with that. :)

Anonymous,  August 23, 2013 at 10:59 PM

I've grown to like ebooks best. I can read at work and I like that my ereader holds my place when I have to take a call. It is easier to pick up where I left off than a paperback.

Roxann August 24, 2013 at 12:45 AM

I didn't think I would, but I prefer eBooks. My Kindle is easier for me to hold. I don't have to hold a bulky book and turn the pages. Also, I usually read a couple of books at a time so I can take them all with me right in my purse on my Kindle.

ErinT August 24, 2013 at 7:16 AM

Definitely ebooks. I can carry thousands of them around with me on one little device.

guettel78 August 24, 2013 at 3:12 PM

I prefer e-books since they are ideal for traveling and portability -- and I like the options of changing the font size, lighting, and page orientation on a tablet!

I prefer paperbacks because I like being able to actually turn the pages with my fingers

Marinalane August 24, 2013 at 11:35 PM

I read both but prefer paperbacks. They are easier to carry around and I'm just more comfortable with them - I don't have a portable e-reader yet. lanemarinab@aol.com
