Publix: All this for the price of one!
I went to Publix late last sales week to pick up a few deals I didn't get last time - Quaker granola bars, Daisy sour cream, and some more of the Chips Ahoy! which my kids demolished in less than a week. (Okay, I helped.)
I also needed to get some Goodnites for my daughter. These cost $19.99.
After deals and coupons, my bill totaled $17.12 - less than the full price of the Goodnites! I was able to pay the whole bill with my health care spending card, and thus the cookies, granola bars, and sour cream cost nothing out of pocket!
Here's the deals:
4 Quaker granola bars @ BOGO $2.89 = $5.78

- 2 $1/2 Quaker Item Target printable
= $1.78 for four, or 45¢ each
2 Chips Ahoy @ BOGO $3.65
- $1/2 Nabisco cookies printable coupon (no longer available)
= $2.65 for two, or $1.33 each
1 Daisy sour cream @ $2.00
- $0.50/1 Daisy Brand Sour Cream Target printable
= $1.50
1 Goodnites @ $19.99
- $2/1 GoodNites Underwear printable
- $3/1 Huggies Publix ad coupon
= $14.99
- $5 off $30 Winn-Dixie coupon (Enjoy the City)
Tax: $1.20
Total spent: $17.12
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $25.43

how were you able to buy the diapers and groceries and pay with your health care spending card? None of this counts as healthcare.
The $3 Huggies coupon was for the boxes.
The coupon listed Goodnites, 27 ct as one item that could be purchased with the coupon. The signage at the store also showed that the coupon was good for the item. Goodnites do count as a healthcare item according to my insurance, but regular baby diapers do not. It would take any amount up to $19.99 plus tax on the card.
