The best birthday gift I ever received was a laptop computer from my brother.
I learned that you can earn virtual currency in multiple ways, like per dollar spent at listed stores, searching on the swagbucks search engine, or watching videos on the site, earning up to 150 points per day that can be turned in for gift codes and gift certificates.
Homemade cards/drawings from my friend's kids was the best present I ever got. The excitement they had just was contagious :)

The best birthday gift that I ever received was having my husband put forth the effort of making that day the best that it could be. I don't remember a gift, but I do remember him cleaning the house, cooking supper before I got home from work, having a glass of wine ready so that I could relax, and making sure the kids were well-behaved, taking charge of their bedtime routine, and just making the day about ME.

I should say the surprise laptop for it must have been the most expensive but really it was the one time this friend wasn't talking to me but wrote a card and gave me a vegan chocolate box, I cried. There was no need to say sorry or I love yous, all was forgiven.
