Free LongHorn Steakhouse children's meal with book donation!

Until it closed recently, our local LongHorn Steakhouse was a favorite place for us to eat out on special occasions, when we would spend a little more than usual for a restaurant meal. We often went there to celebrate birthdays or to take out-of-town company to dinner.  My husband really liked the roasted mushrooms and grilled onions that were served with the steak, and I loved the marinated grilled salmon salad.  We were sorry to see it close, and I hope they'll open again in our area soon.

If you have a LongHorn Steakhouse in your area, here's a great freebie that's going on there tomorrow!

On April 2nd, LongHorn Steakhouse is celebrating International Children's Book Day.  If you and your family go there for a meal tomorrow and donate a children's book, you'll receive a free children's meal with the purchase of an adult meal!

The book you donate should be suitable for children ages 5-12, and all of the books will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs in your area.

To learn more, go to the LongHorn Steakhouse Facebook page.  To find a restaurant location, stop by the LongHorn Restaurant website.

Donate a book and get a free kid's meal - what a great win-win situation!
