Purex Baby & 20 Mule Team Borax Review / Giveaway
Every Sunday, I tackle the family laundry. Five loads, ack! By the end of the day, I'm exhausted, but everyone has clean clothes for the week. And thanks to Purex, I have some great products to keep the clothes looking great and lasting long.
Purex recently asked me to try out these two products to help you keep your laundry clean!
Purex Baby detergent delivers the same bright, white clean that you get from Purex, yet is sensitive on baby's skin. Plus, it has a gentle baby-inspired freshness. The dermatologist-tested formula guarantees to remove stubborn stains without hurting delicate clothes. It's specifically designed to ensure proper performance from all washers.
20 Mule Team Borax is a laundry booster. When you add detergent to hard water, some of the compounds attach to the calcium and magnesium present in hard water and settle to the bottom of the wash. Some of the detergent ends up draining out with the water instead of cleaning your clothes. 20 Mule Team Borax naturally softens hard water, allowing the detergent to do its job.
I gave both a try recently. Unfortunately, I don't have any diapers or footie pajamas to wash anymore, as my youngest is almost eight years old. But I did use it on a set of towels, and I can say that it cleaned them well and left them nice and soft. And the scent, ah! Reminds me of when all the kids were young and had those itty-bitty baby towels with the hood for their tiny heads.
I used 20 Mule Team Borax on our white wash, with lots of dirty white socks. It cleaned them great without any bleach! It was comforting to know that my detergent wasn't being wasted with just this small addition. Although our water isn't as hard as it is in other areas, I'll be sure to continue using a half-cup in my wash each time to boost the detergent's cleaning power!
Would you like to try either of these products? You can purchase Purex Baby at many major retailers, but it is not available everywhere. Find a store near you that carries Purex Baby. 20 Mule Team Borax is also available at many major retailers - click here and then on "Where to Buy" for a list.
Or would you like to try them for free?
