CVS: They read my mind!

At CVS this week, I was excited to see that there was an Extra Care Bucks deal on milk - buy one gallon at $3.49 (my local price; yours may differ), receive $1 ECB.  So I made plans to get milk there, as well as a few other items.

So when I scanned my card at the coupon printing machine, what came out?

A CVS coupon for $1 off milk!

Woohoo!  They must have read my mind!

So I ended up paying $1.49 for a gallon milk after coupon and ECBs.  It's not free milk, but it's a great price!

Here's what I got:

2 Softsoap body wash @ $3.50 = $7.00 (receive $4 ECB)
- $0.50/1 SoftSoap Body Wash or Bar Soap, exp. 10/20/12 (SS 09/30/12)
- $0.50/1 SoftSoap Citrus Splash and Berry Fusion Body Wash, exp. 10/20/12 (SS 09/30/12)
= $6.00 for two, or $3.00 each ($1 each after ECBs)

2 Robitussin @ $4.99 = $9.98 (receive $3 ECB)
- 2 $3/1 Robitussin Product, exp. 11/24/12 (RP 09/30/12)
(also available: $1.00 off Any Robitussin Product)
= $3.98 for two, or $1.99 each (49¢ each after ECBs)

1 gallon milk @ $3.49 (receive $1 ECB)
- $1/1 gallon milk CVS coupon (prints at coupon printing company)
= $2.49 ($1.49 after ECBs)

Total before ECBs: $12.47
Pay with $3.67 in ECBs from previous weeks

Total after ECBs: $8.80
Tax: 40¢

Total out of pocket: $9.20
Total saved compared to CVS full prices: $18.05
ECBs received: $8.00

HA! Our shopping trips are almost identical! I also got the milk Q in my inbox but decided against it for this trip. Great job!
