Menu plan 8-13-12: The freezer is empty!
Several weeks ago, I had a problem: my freezer was too full. Now I'm having the opposite problem - it's getting very empty! I'll finish off some of the food in there, then go on a big shopping trip later this week to fill it back up!
So here are my dinner plans:
Monday - grilled tilapia, pasta with garlic and oil, salad
Tuesday - hot dogs, sweet potato tots, veggie sticks
Wednesday - red pepper whole wheat pizza
Thursday - salmon with 7 spice seasoning, rice with cheese and salsa
Friday - chicken soup with matzah balls, baked chicken, salad, challah
Saturday: grilled cheese and tomato soup
Sunday - carry in and get ready for the first day of school!

The red pepper whole wheat pizza sounds fantastic. I found a bag of frozen grilled peppers on clearance at my store last week, you've given me a great idea on how to use them! -Kelly @ Semi Homemade Mom
I'm stopping by for a visit from Organizing Junkie today.
Yikes! Sounds like it's time to do some grocery shopping.
It's another 107 degree day in Las Vegas. Man! Am I looking forward to cooler temps. Unfortunately, we don't usually start cooling down till late September or October.
Your menu for the week sounds delicious!
Hi from MPM! This looks like a great plan! I too have a full freezer that needs emptying, so this week includes a lot of freezer pleasers for us. What price range do you consider frugal? I would love to contribute some recipes but want to make sure I'm adding things that fit the range you are looking for. Thx!
Sweet potato tots sounds fantastic! Homemade or bought? Checking out Frugal Food Thursday now.
Low freezer, but you've still got some pretty good meals, there. (I miss The Aldi Spot.) Visiting from MPM.
