Save on a Newport Beach vacation
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Newport Beach. All opinions are 100% mine.
It's Memorial Day weekend, which means it's the start of summer! The Frugal Follies family, sadly, does not have a big summer vacation planned this year. We're continuing to save money to pay off our home equity line of credit, so no big trips until we achieve that goal. But don't worry, we'll still have fun this summer; we've planned a small weekend jaunt to visit friends, and we'll be swimming in my relatives' pool, playing at the park, and otherwise having lots of summer fun.
But if I could, I'd love to go on a big vacation! One place that's caught my eye is Newport Beach, California. Look at this video - wouldn't you love to go there?
You should definitely check out the Newport Beach visitor's site. There's plenty of information about the city, including events in the city, where to eat, and where to stay. Under the "Things to Do" tab, there are lots of options! Newport Beach has 10 miles of beaches and lots of water sports, as well as hiking and other outdoor activities. And, of course, lots of shopping.
There are lots of unique eclectic events, such as Giant Blue Whale Watching, the Balboa Island Parade, and the Newport Dunes Boat and RV Festival. And check out the kids' camps. There are hundreds of camps for children of all ages and interests. I know my kids would love these camps! And I know we would love to take a trip there as well!
And here's a great deal for the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach hotel: Buy one room at full price, receive a connecting room for kids 18 and under at 50% off. The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is a resort-style bayside destination on 26 acres and boasts 3-pools and whirlpools, shuffle board, ping pong, a 9-hole, par-3 golf course. Call 800-233-1234 and mention the Family Plan to book today!
Don't you need a vacation like this? (I know I do!) Wouldn't you just love to vacation here? What activities would you like to do? Leave a comment below!
