Saving money on medical equipment

If you need medical equipment, whether for your personal use or to equip a medical office, look into used equipment.  According to an article from Medical Machines Online:

  • Devices that are used aren't necessarily bad.  They may have been owned by a doctor who has retired or a hospital which is closing down.
  • Medical devices are built to last and are very durable, so chances are that the equipment is not worn out physically.
  • Ask for the equipment's records and maintenance logs.
If you do buy new equipment, be sure to check many sources, such as Howard-Medical.com med cart, to see that you are getting the best price.  But used medical equipment often gives you a great product for a fraction of the price.
