Publix: Just rice and almonds

This week's Publix trip was a bit of a bust.

The weekly ad wasn't that great. 

And for some of the deals which were okay, I didn't have the coupons.

And for one of the deals I wanted to do, I had the coupons, but my Publix didn't carry the product.  (That was the Bliss chocolate - the coupon was for $1/1 Hershey's Bliss Dark Chocolate with Caramel, but my store didn't have that kind.)

And to top things off, I lost my receipt.

So it wasn't a great week for Publix.  But here's what I did get (savings based on the online ad):

4 Uncle Ben's whole grain boil-in-bag rice @ BOGO $2.59 = $5.18
- $1/3 Uncle Ben's Whole Grain Brown Rice printable
= $4.18 for four, or $1.05 each

6 Blue Diamond almonds @ BOGO $3.19 = $9.57
- 6 $1/1 Blue Diamond Almonds, exp. 4/30/12 (SS 01/29/12)
= $3.57 for six, or 60¢ each

Total spent: $7.75
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $21.75
