Play a game and get coupons

I've read a lot of bloggers talking about the great deals they get at Dollar General.  But despite having this store in my area, I've never been to it.  But that just might change!

I've just discovered that Dollar General accepts manufacturer's coupons (see the Dollar General coupon policy) as well as store coupons.  Here's their Dollar General coupons center.  By combining a manufacturer's coupon with a store coupon, and hopefully a sale as well, you can get a great deal on your favorite brands.  And there's even a $5 off $25 store coupon (good on March 10th only) that will help you save even more!

And here's another fun way to get Dollar General coupons: In honor of March Madness, Dollar General is sponsoring their own contest:  Dollar General's Bracket of the Brands.

To play, go to the Dollar General's Bracket of the Brands Facebook page and "like" Dollar General.  You'll then get a choice of two brands - right now, it's Ritz vs. Planters.  Once you choose which brand you prefer, you'll be asked three trivia questions about the brand.  I picked Ritz and was able to answer two of the three questions (yes, I knew how many holes there are in a Ritz cracker!).

After you answer the questions, you'll see a screen with a "Click to Get Your Coupon" button.  Click there and print your coupons!  (You can hit your browser's back button and get a second print!)



You can go back to the Dollar General Facebook page each week to play again - the coupon values will increase each week. The Bracket of the Brands game ends on 3/25, so hurry over and play!
