Menu plan 3-5-12: No wasting food!
This week, I'm going to do my best not to waste food. Sticking to a menu plan is a great way to do this - too often, I've planned to make a meal around food in the fridge, then make something else, and the food goes bad and has to be thrown out. Also, I'm planning a leftover night at the end of the week - that should help get rid of any extra food!
Here's what's for dinner this week:
Monday - baked salmon fillets coated with Kraft Fresh Take cheese & bread crumbs, salad
Tuesday - Veggie Burritos
Wednesday - chicken stir-fry over brown rice
Thursday - whole-wheat pizza topped with leftover veggies
Friday - chicken soup with matzah balls, baked chicken breasts, salad, challah
Saturday - leftover night!
Sunday - takeout, or more leftovers!
