Menu plan 2-20-12: Keeping it simple
This week, we're keeping it simple again. I made a mess of pinto beans cooked in the crockpot, so we'll be having veggie burritos for sure. And I have lots of frozen soup in the freezer, so we'll be having soup for dinner on Friday night - the kids always love it! And lastly, we have lots of leftover challah in the freezer, so I'll defrost what we have and make French toast for a Saturday night breakfast-for-dinner.
Here's what's for dinner this week:
Monday - Chicken Basquaise over brown rice
Tuesday - Veggie Burritos
Wednesday - beefaroni, salad
Thursday - mushroom whole-wheat pizza
Friday - chicken soup with matzah balls, baked chicken, Kasha Varnishkes, salad, challah
Saturday - Oven-Baked Banana French Toast
Sunday - sub sandwiches
