List and Enter Giveaways 1/17 (Fortune Follies Tuesday)
Welcome to Fortune Follies Tuesday for January 17th, where bloggers can list their giveaways, and readers can enter them!
I'm convinced that entering giveaways is a great way to acquire things frugally. It doesn't cost anything but a bit of time, and blogs often offer great prizes to their readers. Several months ago, I won $100 in grocery gift cards in blog giveaways - check out how!
So take some time and enter some the giveaways listed below!
And be sure to enter these giveaways hosted by Frugal Follies:
My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking Software Review and Giveaway - ends 1/18
Skyrocket Your Savings! e-book - ends 1/19
Skyrocket Your Savings! e-book - ends 1/19

$22.22 in cash (Frugal Follies 2nd anniversary celebration) - ends 1/26

The Prosperity Bible - ends 2/2
Please link up your giveaways using the following format: Blog Name - Name of Contest - End Date. Please link directly to your giveaway and not to your home page. A link back to Fortune Follies Tuesday is always appreciated!
Also, if you have a list of sites which have giveaway linkies, please add Frugal Follies to your list. I'd appreciate it!

Giveaways are great and if you keep entering giveaways all year, you could even put some items you win up for Christmas gifts.
The only problem I have is that for many giveaways now the blogs want folks to have facebook or twitter accounts. I personally do not believe in these social media sites as I personally believe they are invasion of personal privacy and have zero to do with promoting business. I think we as bloggers can do much more for each other just by simple word of mouth for each other. I know others that feel this way as well.
Hi Robert,
I agree with your comments. I understand that some people do not want to follow via Twitter or Facebook, so I always give at least one way to enter the giveaway without those. Usually, it's either tell me something you like about the product, or visit the sponsor's website and tell me something about what you read there.
But giveaways are a good way to find more followers, so I give following on Twitter and Facebook as optional additional entries.
Thanks for your viewpoint!
