Opening of ALDI Coral Springs

This morning, the new ALDI in Coral Springs, Florida had its grand opening!

Just before the store opened at 9:00 am, there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the mayor of Coral Springs, other City Commission members, members of the Chamber of Commerce, and the ALDI management.

And then the store was open for business!

The new store is absolutely beautiful.  It is much larger than the other ALDI stores I'm familiar with - there was plenty of room for carts to go by.  The parking lot is much larger as well. The store seemed to have pretty much the same merchandise as other stores, and at the same prices.  But overall, I think it will be a much nicer shopping experience.

There were some special events going on - there was a drawing for a $25 ALDI gift card, and there were food tastings as well.  And if you missed it, there was a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase in the 11/30 Sun-Sentinel newspaper.

So overall, I'm really excited about the new ALDI, and I can't wait to blog about all the great deals I will be getting there!
