Menu plan 12/26/11: Turkey, turkey, turkey!
Last Friday, I made a turkey. Not for a special holiday dinner, but just to have a lot of meat! I bought one on sale at Publix, where it was a lot cheaper than the kosher supermarket where I typically buy meat.
So this week will feature... well, let one of my favorite clips from the British version of Family Feud say it for me:
Here's what's for dinner this week:
Monday - turkey and vegetable stir-fry over brown rice
Tuesday - whole wheat pasta with ratatouille, salad
Wednesday - dinner out
Thursday - turkey salad sandwiches on mini-rolls, veggie sticks
Friday - Turkey Broth with Matzo Balls, picadillo over brown rice, salad, challah
Saturday - dinner out for New Year's Eve
Sunday - green pepper whole-wheat pizza
