Walgreens: Editing my shopping list mid-store

I took a trip over to Walgreens today. The ad was filled with good deals, and I planned to get a whole lot of them. But as I shopped, I started realizing that though the deals were good, I was going to end up with a huge out of pocket cost. I would have received a lot of Register Rewards, but I'd have to put the money out because I had no RRs to pay with. That's one of the side effects of barely doing any drug store shopping for past several weeks.

So, I ended up putting a few deals back. Here's what I ended up with:

2 Crest Pro-Health toothpaste @ $3.50 = $7.00 (receive $5 RR)
- 2 $1/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel, exp. 11/30/11 (P&G 10/30/11)
= $5.00 (FREE after RRs)

Dawn dish liquid @ 99¢
- $0.50/1 Dawn Product, exp. 11/30/11 (P&G 10/30/11)
= 49¢

2 Domino sugar @ 99¢ (with in-ad coupon) = $1.98
- $0.50/2 Domino Brown or Confectioners Sugar, exp. 12/31/11 (RP 10/16/11 R)
= $1.48 for two, or 74¢ each

4 Blue Diamond almonds @ BOGO $3.59 = $7.18
- 2 $1/2 Blue Diamond Almonds, exp. 1/31/12 (SS 10/16/11 R)
= $5.18 for four, or $1.30 each
(There was a report about receiving a $4 RR for buying four cans, but I did not receive it.)
