Walgreens: Crestfallen, part 2

I headed on over to Walgreens yesterday. There weren't all that many great deals to be had, but there were two good deals on Crest toothpaste, as well as one on Scott paper towels.

For the second week in a row, though, all of the sales-priced toothpaste was gone when I got there early Sunday afternoon. And I got the last pack of Scott paper towels. Someone is raiding my store! I may have to go a little farther just to get some deals.

Oh, well, here's what I did get:

1 Scott Naturals paper towels 6-pack @ $5.00
- $1/1 Scott Paper Towels, exp. 10/23/11 (SS 09/11/11)
- $1/1 Scott Natural Paper Towels, exp. 9/24/11 (Walgreens, Sept)
= $3.00 for six rolls, or 50¢ each

2 Russell Stover chocolate pumpkins @ 39¢ (with in-ad coupon - extra items)
= 78¢

Total before RRs: $3.78
Pay with $3 RR ($2, $1) from last week
Total after RRs: 78¢
Tax: 35¢
Total out of pocket: $1.13
Total saved compared to Walgreens full prices: $5.22
