Menu plan 8/8/11: Back to reality
I haven't done a menu plan for the last couple of weeks, because we were on vacation! We stayed with family, so I didn't do any meal planning at all, or much grocery shopping to speak of. How nice that was!
But it's back to reality. When I went shopping, I filled the fridge with some basic foods, staying under budget for the week, but the freezer is still a little empty. So we'll make what we have this week, and work on getting the freezer stocked up later in the week.
So here's what's for dinner this week:
Monday - baked salmon fillets with 7 Spice Seasoning over salad
Tuesday - ravioli with tomato sauce, salad
Wednesday - hot dogs, chips, veggie sticks
Thursday - green pepper pizza on whole wheat pizza dough, fruit
Friday - chicken soup with matzah balls, baked chicken, pasta with garlic and oil, broccoli, challah
Saturday - grilled cheese and tomato soup, veggie sticks
Sunday - takeout
