Menu plan 7/11/11: Out of the habit

I haven't done a meal plan in three weeks, ack!  I got out of the habit.  And it has affected my life for the worse in many ways:

  • I have some whole chickens sitting unused in the freezer because I haven't had the foresight to defrost them.
  • I've let some of my produce go to waste.
  • My kids haven't been liking any of my super-quick make-it-now meals and have been asking for sandwiches or quesadillas instead.
  • Dinner has had the extra stress of trying to figure out what to make, then making it.
So I'm glad to be getting back on the bandwagon again!

So here's what's for dinner this week:

Monday - baked salmon fillets with 7 Spice Seasoning over salad

Tuesday - roasted chicken, rice pilaf, peas

Wednesday - 3 Can Veggie Chili over pasta, salad

Thursday - mushroom pizza on whole wheat pizza dough, fruit

Friday - chicken soup with matzah balls, baked chicken legs, tabbouleh, broccoli, challah

Saturday - French toast made with leftover challah, fruit

Sunday - takeout!
