Menu plan 7/11/11: Out of the habit
I haven't done a meal plan in three weeks, ack! I got out of the habit. And it has affected my life for the worse in many ways:
- I have some whole chickens sitting unused in the freezer because I haven't had the foresight to defrost them.
- I've let some of my produce go to waste.
- My kids haven't been liking any of my super-quick make-it-now meals and have been asking for sandwiches or quesadillas instead.
- Dinner has had the extra stress of trying to figure out what to make, then making it.
So here's what's for dinner this week:
Monday - baked salmon fillets with 7 Spice Seasoning over salad
Tuesday - roasted chicken, rice pilaf, peas
Wednesday - 3 Can Veggie Chili over pasta, salad
Thursday - mushroom pizza on whole wheat pizza dough, fruit
Friday - chicken soup with matzah balls, baked chicken legs, tabbouleh, broccoli, challah
Saturday - French toast made with leftover challah, fruit
Sunday - takeout!
