Menu Plan 6/20/11: Repeats!
I bought meat this week, yay! But because I buy kosher meat that is really, really expensive (I mean, really, really, really, really expensive), I try to use it in less-meat dishes to conserve as much of it as possible. I also make chicken broth from the chicken carcass. Hopefully I won't have to shop for meat again until later this summer!
I also missed making a few dishes due to time commitments last week, so they'll be making an appearance in this week's menu again.
So here's what's for dinner this week:
Monday - baked salmon fillets over salad
Tuesday - picadillo (recipe to follow) over brown rice
Wednesday - mushroom pizza on whole wheat pizza dough, fruit
Thursday - breaded tilapia fillets, veggie sticks
Friday - baked chicken legs, kasha varnishkes, salad, challah
Saturday - French toast made with leftover challah, fruit
Sunday - takeout!
