Walgreens: Paid $1.37, saved $34.58
I took a trip over to Walgreens today, trying to figure out the best way to spend my $21 in Register Rewards. There are lots of free items after Register Rewards this week, and I wanted to figure out the best way to get some of them without spending too much out of pocket.
I looked for the items I wanted, but found that a couple of them were already sold out - and this was just after noon on Sunday! I found some items, did some math in my head, and ended up putting a couple of items back. This is what I ended up getting:
Transaction 1:
1 Applied Nutrition Anti-Aging Total Body Defense @ $10.00, receive $10 RR
2 Walgreens low-dose aspirin @ 79¢ (with in-ad coupon)
Total product: $11.58
Used $11 RRs ($7, $2, $2) from two weeks ago
Paid: 58¢
Saved: $18.39
Transaction 2:
1 Applied Nutrition Anti-Aging Total Body Defense @ $10.00, receive $10 RR
1 Walgreens low-dose aspirin @ 79¢ (with in-ad coupon)
Total product: $10.79
Used $10 RRs ($5, $5) from last week
Paid: 79¢
Saved: $16.19
Total out-of-pocket: $1.37
Total savings: $34.58
Total RRs received: $20

I need to do more figuring and do more than one transaction.
I was disappointed when I went Monday that they were already out of the Baby Magic...that I really wanted to get since my middle daughter is pregnant. I'm going to stop in tomorrow to see if by chance they got anymore in.
