Menu Plan 2/28/11: Gelato for dinner?
This week, we'll be having gelato for dinner all week long!
No, not really. We'll be having meals made from the deals from Publix Italian Days and the frozen food deals from Target. So Italian + frozen = gelato, right?
I got some great deals at Publix on beans, pasta, and tomato sauce, so those will be key in many of our meals this week. Check out how I spent $10 and saved $43 on one trip, and spent $9 and saved $65 on another.
I also hit Target's frozen food deal, where I received a $5 gift card for purchasing 7 frozen food items. See how I bought 28 items for under 10¢ each. We'll also be eating a lot of frozen vegetables as well this week.
Here's what's for dinner this week:
Monday - fresh fettuccine in meat sauce, salad, garlic bread
Tuesday - salmon fillets, peas and corn
Wednesday - pepper pizza on whole wheat pizza dough, fruit
Thursday - tuna-noodle casserole, cut-up veggies
Friday - roasted chicken, rice, broccoli, challah
Saturday - veggie chili over pasta
Sunday - dinner out!
