I haven't had a giveaway in a couple of months, but no time's like the present to start again...

I've seen a lot of other bloggers do CSN giveaways, so I was curious and checked them out.  I was really surprised by the variety of items that they offer, and I especially liked seeing how many of them had free shipping, always a boon for online shoppers!

CSN Stores has over 250+ stores, from housewares and home decor to pets and shoes, and even furniture.  As I looked through their website, I was particularly struck by their great office furniture, especially their L Shaped Desk collection.

You see, I write Frugal Follies from a very old desk.  It was an early marriage purchase and was very frugal - we found it in the newspaper classified ads.  (For our younger readers, that's how you bought things from other people before eBay and Craigslist existed.)  It's missing a wheel on one leg, so it's propped up with a couple of wood pieces.  It doesn't have much storage space for its size, which is too big for the room.  We put a dent in the wall just getting it into the den.

So, looking at those desks, I imagined a future me writing this blog from one of those beautiful desks, and how life would be so grand if I did.

But, back to reality.  Buying a new desk isn't very high on our priority list.  So, alas, it will remain a fantasy.
