Honey-Mustard Herb Chicken

What can you do with salad dressing, other than dress salads?

This has been puzzling me, as I have several half-full (yes, I'm an optimist) bottles of salad dressing in my refrigerator, and I'd like to reduce the number down to one or two.  I have all these bottles because I hosted a large dinner at my house, and I served salad at the dinner.  Wanting to give my guests choices, I had bought several different types (on sale, with coupons).  And they were all used.

So, I came up with this recipe for dinner last Friday night.  It was delicious!  And now I have a little less salad dressing to deal with.

If you have any other ideas for using salad dressing, leave a comment below!

Honey Mustard Herb Chicken

1 cup honey mustard salad dressing
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
Freshly ground pepper to taste
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

In a medium bowl, whisk salad dressing with spices.  Place chicken breasts in a 9x9 glass baking pan.  Cover chicken with dressing mixture.  Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until chicken breasts are no longer pink inside.  Serve over brown rice.

Sounds delish! One of my favorite recipes from when we were first married marinated chicken and steak in Italian salad dressing. Why not honey mustard and how easy.

This one looks easy enough. A friend of mine makes a honey mustard chicken but not sure how she does hers.
