Wednesday Weekly Shopping: Free feta and oatmeal
I invite you to link up to your best grocery deals below!
This week's shopping was a little... dull.
True, I did get four free packages of Athenos feta cheese at Publix. Publix had a buy one, get one free sale, and I had two buy one, get one free coupons. Together, they meant four for free!
And I was able to do the Quaker Oatmeal deal at CVS. I purchased two boxes of oatmeal for $2.50 each, used 2 $2 off printable coupons (sadly, no longer available), so I paid $1 cents out of pocket, and received $2 in Extra Care Bucks. So that means I made $1 on the deal!
Other than that, I bought meat, dairy, and produce, and some items for my husband to bring to work and my daughter to bring to school. (The school doesn't allow home-baked products.) I made a very short stop at my local warehouse club. I was also able to use the great printable coupons at Target, along with the $5 off 5 Kraft cheese coupon, to get good deals on cream cheese and shredded Cheddar cheese, which get eaten extremely quickly in my house.
Overall, I spent $53.66 for items worth $101.79, or a 47% savings.
See all my shopping here.
