Free Purex at Walgreens!

How did I manage to miss this deal until now?  (I guess I was so caught up in the Goodnites and Huggies deal that this one didn't make my radar.)  I was over at Southern Illinois Money Savers when I saw this post about free Purex at Walgreens.  But the Walgreens sale is over tonight, and the coupon for it expires today, too.  So I quickly riffled through my coupon file, got the coupons, rounded up the kids, and headed over to Walgreens!

4 Purex @ $5.99 = $23.96
- $11.98 - buy one, get one free Purex sale at Walgreens
- $11.98 - 2 buy one, get one free Purex coupons in the 2/21 RedPlum insert
= FREE! + tax

And better yet, Walgreens only charged me tax for two of the four bottles, since the other two rang up as $0.00 (instead of ringing up as $5.99 and then taking a $5.99 discount).  So I was only charged 72¢ tax on four bottles of Purex, or 18¢ a bottle.
