CVS 1/18/10: The wrong size!
On Monday, 1/18/10, I took a trip to CVS with my three kids in tow, all off school for Martin Luther King's birthday. We had already spent a harrowing morning at the doctor's getting up to date on various vaccines and having one kid's ear pair checked out (outer ear infection), so perhaps I should've skipped the visit.
I was so rushed once I got home that I forgot to take a picture! But here's what I got:
1 Goodnites - I had wanted to get the mega pack (21 pullups), which was on sale for $14.99, about a dollar cheaper than other stores. But all they had was the small size, when I needed the large. Aargh. And since I was completely out and didn't want to run to another store, I had to buy the jumbo size (12 pullups) for $11.99. Way too expensive. But, my fault for running out of them. I did have a $1.50 off coupon for them.
1 Huggies wipes - Again, I was pretty much out of wipes. I had a $2 off coupon printed at the CVS printers, and I had forgotten to check to see if there were Huggies coupons out there. So I found the cheapest package, which was $2.99. So, $.99 for a box of wipes, not bad.
2 CVS acetaminophen - I had 2 $1 off coupons for any CVS pain relief. I found containers of 10 tablets for $1.99. So, $.99 each, plus I got 4% ECBs toward the quarterly payout.
I had a $3 off $15 coupon which had come in the email. But I completely forgot to use my ECBs to pay for the rest. So, with tax, I paid $11.14 out of pocket.
